The word yoga has its origin in the Sanskrit root yuj, which means to unite, add, or join. Now, the question is, “With whom am I to unite through the practice of yoga?”
Lord Sri Krishna is the possessor of unlimited energies (purna-shaktiman). His eternal consort, Srimati Radharani, is the personification of His spiritual energy called the hladini-shakti, His pleasure potency. There is no difference between Radha and Krishna.
